Sean Pett is a British composer and performer working with piano and hybrid Modern sound.
 

His work is built on inner emotional states and physical intensity — using repetition, rhythm, and dynamic force to build and sustain pressure, holding tension until it gives way to more exposed and fragile material.

 

He began his career writing production music, with work featured across UK and US television networks. Over the past four years, he has developed a close relationship with contemporary dance, composing for a range of projects that explore the connection between sound and movement. This collaboration has become central to his practice, shaping a distinctive compositional approach rooted in physical expression, gesture, and the body in motion.
 

In 2025, he began developing his own solo work — a series of neo-classical piano compositions supported by Creative Scotland — marking a new phase focused on personal artistic voice and live performance.
 

His work has been performed across the UK in live sound collaborations with contemporary dance, as well as internationally in Italy and Cyprus.
